East Coast College is a well-established further education college with campuses in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. We offer a fantastic breadth and depth of subjects, and technical and professional training for school leavers and adults up to degree level. As a Childcare Lecturer within our experienced and supportive curriculum team, your preparation of schemes of work, and lesson and assessment plans will ensure that your delivery of relevant and up-to-date techniques and knowledge will help our Level 5 students to aspire and achieve.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
