LED & Video Technician – Events & Production

Location: East London

Join a Team Delivering Exceptional Live Event Experiences

We are a leading AV hire and production company delivering professional LED, video, and technical solutions for live events, exhibitions, conferences, and productions across the UK.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand for LED and video solutions, we're looking for an experienced LED & Video Technician to join our expanding technical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the latest technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be involved in delivering outstanding live events from start to finish.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining warehouse preparation with on-site event delivery. You'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from equipment preparation and pre-builds to installation, live operation, troubleshooting, and de-rigging.

Working with industry-leading LED and video systems, you'll play a key role in ensuring every event is delivered to the highest technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, test, and pre-build LED and video equipment before events.
  • Install, configure, operate, and de-rig LED screens and video systems on-site.
  • Configure and operate Novastar and Brompton LED processors.
  • Work with video playback systems such as Resolume, QLab, or similar.
  • Set up signal distribution, routing, and video infrastructure.
  • Support production teams during live events.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively on-site.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Maintain equipment, report faults, and ensure high presentation standards.
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
