LED & Video Technician – Events & Production
Location: East London

We are a leading AV hire and production company delivering professional LED, video, and technical solutions for live events, exhibitions, conferences, and productions across the UK.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for LED and video solutions, we're looking for an experienced LED & Video Technician to join our expanding technical team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the latest technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be involved in delivering outstanding live events from start to finish.
The Role
This is a hands-on position combining warehouse preparation with on-site event delivery. You'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from equipment preparation and pre-builds to installation, live operation, troubleshooting, and de-rigging.
Working with industry-leading LED and video systems, you'll play a key role in ensuring every event is delivered to the highest technical standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, test, and pre-build LED and video equipment before events.
- Install, configure, operate, and de-rig LED screens and video systems on-site.
- Configure and operate Novastar and Brompton LED processors.
- Work with video playback systems such as Resolume, QLab, or similar.
- Set up signal distribution, routing, and video infrastructure.
- Support production teams during live events.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively on-site.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to deliver successful projects.
- Maintain equipment, report faults, and ensure high presentation standards.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.

About You
You'll be an experienced technician with a passion for live events and technology.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in LED, AV, or live events.
- Strong knowledge of LED screen installation, configuration, and calibration.
- Experience with Novastar and Brompton processors.
- Knowledge of video playback software including Resolume, QLab, or similar.
- Excellent understanding of video signal flow and distribution.
- Comfortable working under pressure in live event environments.
- Professional, reliable, and confident on-site.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.

Desirable Skills
- Experience with vision mixers (Roland, Analog Way, Barco).
- Large-format displays, projection, and video wall systems.
- Basic knowledge of audio and lighting systems.
- Camera operation.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience.
