About the Role

The Legacy & In-memory team drives engagement with new and existing supporters to inspire them to include a gift in their Will while also expanding the in-memory programme. This empowers supporters to create meaningful ways to honour loved ones through donation.

As the Legacy & In-memory Executive, you’ll:

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns to achieve set objectives.
  • Manage relationships, both externally with agencies and internally across teams, while providing operational support to the Legacy & In-memory wem.

Key Responsibilities

Campaigns & Strategy

  • Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating multi-channel campaigns (telemarketing, digital, and mail) while maintaining budgets and timelines.
  • Contribute to developing supporter journeys, updating process guides, crafting letters, and producing required marketing materials.

Strategic Relationships & Reports

  • Monitor free Will partner performance, propose improvements, create collateral, and address stakeholder/ supporter queries effectively.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Lead the legacy training programme, delivering in-person training while fostering broader organisational awareness of legacies and in-memory donations.
  • Support online training tools and promote** effective adoption of legacy and in-memory practices.

Operational Support

  • Manage administrative tasks: expense reporting, purchasing, and invoice tracking to ensure the team runs efficiently.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in marketing or fundraising, with a grounding in marketing principles, fundraising KPIs, and evaluation metrics.
  • Proficiency in database management tools and workflows.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to manage deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks under pressure.
  • Experience working collaboratively across departments and coordinating with third-party suppliers.
  • Knowledge of creating marketing assets (print, web, and social media) with clear messaging.
  • Ability to innovate and streamline processes for efficiency.

(Desirable: Familiarity with legacy/in-memory fundraising)

  • Knowledge of legacy and/or in-memory giving (desirable).
