The Firm

Our client is a well-established and growing law firm based near Edgware, recognised for delivering professional and efficient legal services across a range of specialist practice areas.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Legal Administrator to provide dedicated support to a senior member of staff within a busy and fast-paced department.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator looking to develop within a legal environment.

The successful candidate will support a senior team member with a range of administrative duties relating to bridging finance matters, DS1 forms, and appointments of receivers. The role would suit someone with strong attention to detail who is confident managing documentation and working within a professional office setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to a senior member of staff
  • Assisting with matters relating to bridging finance
  • Preparing and processing DS1 forms
  • Supporting with documentation relating to appointments of receivers
  • Managing and maintaining accurate files and records
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documentation where required
  • Liaising with clients and third parties professionally and efficiently
  • Handling incoming calls and emails
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurately filed and compliant with internal procedures
  • General office administration duties

Candidate Profile

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Professional and proactive approach
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous exposure to legal administration, property finance, bridging finance, or related documentation would be advantageous but is not essential.
