Our client is a prestigious specialist law firm based in Marlborough, known for its high standards, client-focused service, and collaborative working environment. They are now seeking a capable and organised Administrator to support the day-to-day running of the office and provide essential administrative assistance to the legal team.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in office administration, ideally within a legal or client-facing environment

Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and accurate document handling
- Confident using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly (e.g. Case Management Software)
- Professional, discreet, and approachable with strong communication skills
- Works well under pressure and adapts to changing priorities
- Positive, proactive, and a team player
Role & Responsibilities
General Office Support
- Answer calls, manage inboxes, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars
- File, scan, copy, and prepare standard documents and letters
- Monitor supplies and liaise with service providers

File & Data Management
- Open/close client files and maintain the Practice Management System
- Keep accurate, GDPR-compliant records and assist with time recording
Team Assistance
- Support fee earners with tasks such as bundling, printing, and formatting
- Greet clients and assist with office hospitality
Conduct & Compliance
- Handle all client data with confidentiality
- Uphold the firm’s professional standards and follow internal procedures
