Legal Administrator

Team & Role

Kennedys is seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our renowned Professional Liability / Cyber team based in our Manchester office.

This role will involve supporting our top-ranked team of Professional Indemnity specialists, who handle a broad array of disputes and provide strategic advice to insurer clients. We manage all aspects of professional liability, from claims involving global institutions like ‘Big Four’ accounting firms and financial institutions, to regional and smaller underwriters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management Support:
    • Collate and securely manage information for collateral warranties
    • Maintain and update case-specific spreadsheets
  • Document Handling:
    • Manage post, upload/download client documents efficiently
    • Rename and organise documents for archiving across case management systems
    • Assemble and present court bundles in a paperless environment
  • Deadline & Compliance Coordination:
    • Track and communicate key deadlines dates
    • Liaise with the team to ensure adherence to client commitments
    • Perform routine post-height office administration (paperless)
  • Quality & Security Compliance:
    • Ensure e-filing accuracy and proper execution
    • Follow firm-wide quality procedures & information security protocols
    • Preserve the confidentiality and security of all documents and client data
    • Manage electronic file closure and archiving; assist with locating closed files as required

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional services or partnership environment
  • Advanced IT literacy, with proven capability in managing digital document workflows

(By preference, candidates with an understanding of case management systems or Legal/Indemnity professions will be prioritised.)
