Legal Advisor – High-Volume RTA Fast Track Claims
Job Purpose
We are looking for legal advisors with experience in supporting caseload management of high-volume Road Traffic Accident (RTA) Fast Track claims. You must be able to assist in the delivery of a robust claims handling process, with a key focus on client outcomes and fee generation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Pro-actively assist in the progression of high-volume Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims, adhering to agreed internal procedures and practices
- Support litigation processes, helping to generate fee income and contribute to overall business success
- Utilise the firm’s case management systems to identify cases where proceedings would be tactically beneficial, and support their progression accordingly
- Liaise appropriately and timely with:
- Medical agencies
- Experts
- Third-party insurers
- Other relevant parties
- Assist in the assessment of liability and quantum, including:
- Reviewing medical reports
- Researching and obtaining relevant case law
- Drafting schedules of special damages
- Reviewing and advising on suitable awards for compensation
- Support cases involving denial of liability and causation arguments
- Adopt a practical yet commercial approach to settlements, including:
- Supporting client advice on cost risks
- Contributing to performance targets (e.g., profit costs, case issuance, and settlements)
- Maintaining the firm’s integrity
- Undertake additional relevant tasks as assigned by the business

Experience and Knowledge
This role is ideal for experienced legal advisors with:
- Significant knowledge of RTA claims handling and the full litigation process
- A solid working understanding of the CPR (Civil Procedure Rules), relevant legislation, and case law
- Competence in using case management systems and good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients and the firm
