- Legal Technology: Specialises in document automation, custom software, eDiscovery, and data analytics, collaborating across disputes, transactions, and projects.
- Advisory: Advises on legal operations and emerging technologies, assisting clients in adopting innovative work methodologies.
The Opportunity
Legal Analyst in our Belfast Disputes team under the Digital Legal Delivery practice group—reporting to senior Disputes lawyers—will work at the intersection of disputes law, data, and technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive digital, data-led, and AI-enabled solutions for disputes and litigation.

Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Analyst within Disputes, your role includes:
Disputes & Litigation Support
- Conduct fee-earning work under the guidance of senior lawyers on large-scale contentious matters.
- Perform documentary analysis and produce reports.
- Support the management of large claims or investigations through consistent, high-quality analysis while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate as part of a global Digital Legal Delivery team to deliver data-driven and AI-enhanced dispute resolutions.
Legal Detailing & Training
- Maintain currency in relevant legal aspects of Disputes practice.
- Uphold financial disciplines (e.g., daily time-recording adherence).
Team Contribution
- Actively contribute to the evolution of Disputes through digital, data-led, and AI approaches.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential
- Law graduate: Minimum of a 2:1 honours degree in B arbor (Scottish ENTRY) or equivalent (or containing sufficient proportion of law courses). Alternatively, a post-graduate qualification in law with A levels (or equivalent) at grades B and above (minimum of 3 subjects).
- Exceptional analytical skills:
- Ability to review, organise, and synthesise documentary/factual evidence.
- Attention to detail (striving for accuracy from the outset).
- IT scale: Proficiency and openness to adopting technologies (particularly AI and generative AI) to enhance legal work.
- Innovative mindset: Desirous of leveraging legal technology to improve service delivery.

Desirable
- Practical experience: 6–12 months in an office-based environment.
- Multilingual: Fluency in a second language for legal documents, particularly Western European languages (e.g., French, German) or Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, or Russian.
