Legal Analyst
Legal JD Expert | Create & Refine Legal Reasoning Challenges for AI Training
AfterQuery is seeking Legal JD Experts to design and refine legal reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will craft and evaluate real-world legal scenarios that test an AI’s ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles with precision and nuance. Responsibilities
Build, refine, and evaluate legal reasoning challenges that push AI models to their limits—including scenarios in:

Contract law

Intellectual property

Other specialized legal domains

Craft high-quality legal questions and case studies that test nuanced application of legal principles.

Validate and critique AI model responses, providing detailed feedback for logical consistency and legal adherence.

Collaborate with legal and technical teams to optimize question difficulty, ensuring content is both challenging and educational.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Demonstrated legal practice, research, or academic experience, with a deep understanding of diverse legal disciplines.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Multiple years of legal practice or extensive legal research experience, ideally across varied fields.
- Prior contributions to legal publications, policy work, or legal tech projects.
