Legal Analyst
AfterQuery – Legal JD Expert Remote Role
About the Role
AfterQuery is seeking Legal JD Experts to create and refine legal reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible position, you will:
- Design and evaluate legal scenarios that test AI models’ ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles.

Responsibilities
- Develop challenging legal questions and case studies across areas like:
- Contract law
- Constitutional law
- Intellectual property (IP)
- Other specialized legal fields
- Evaluate and validate AI model responses with detailed feedback to ensure:
- Logical consistency
- Adherence to legal principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal & technical experts) to:
- Fine-tune question difficulty
- Ensure content is both rigorous and educational.
Qualifications
Required
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven experience in:
- Legal practice, research, or academia.
- A deep understanding of multiple legal disciplines.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

- Multiple years of legal practice or extensive legal research (preferably across diverse legal fields).
- Experience in:
- Legal publications
- Policy work
- Legal tech initiatives
- Familiarity with AI-driven legal applications.
