Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts (Consumer Channel) – Global Opportunity

As a key member of the legal team, you will engage in high-impact commercial projects, collaborating with partners and internal stakeholders. This role involves providing solutions-driven legal counsel to drive sales, operations, and compliance, navigate intricate contractual landscapes, and facilitate the global launch and distribution of cutting-edge products and services. Your work will be crucial in managing risk mitigation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

  • Advise sales and operational teams on complex contracts and commercial projects within the consumer channel, including direct engagement with customers and partners.
  • Negotiate and draft strategic agreements relating to sales, distribution, marketing, and after-sales services for product offerings.
  • Provide solutions-based legal and commercial advice to all levels of management on a broad range of complex legal and business issues.
  • Build and nurture cross-functional relationships, collaborating with multiple teams to identify issues, propose solutions, and close deals strategically.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Post-Qualified Experience (PQE).
  • Significant in-house or private practice experience with a strong focus on commercial contracts across multiple industries.
  • Proven familiarity with legal issues in sales, marketing, and distribution models.
  • Exceptional communication and drafting skills, including:
    • Active listening and clarity in verbal discussions.
    • Concise and persuasive stakeholder presentations.
    • Ability to challenge ideas constructively to drive optimal decision-making.
