The firm focuses on strong relationship management with clients and key partners, including mortgage brokers, IFAs, and estate agents. Its practice covers Wills, Probate, and estate administration, as well as Powers of Attorney, Estate Planning, Living Wills, and elder client care. Kirsty’s Law Ltd also handles Court of Protection matters, including deputyship orders, and a range of Private Client, Agricultural, and Property Litigation matters, offering a supportive and client-centered environment for team members.
Role Description
The Legal Assistant will work on-site in Llanelli in a full-time capacity, supporting solicitors and fee earners in delivering high-quality client service across the firm’s practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Preparing and formatting legal documents
- Maintaining case files
- Managing correspondence with clients and external partners
- Scheduling appointments

The role involves helping gather and verify information, updating case management systems, and ensuring accurate record keeping. The position requires regular interaction with clients, mortgage brokers, IFAs, and estate agents, providing clear, professional communication and supporting the smooth progression of matters.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and experience or training as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal forms and letters.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and external partners.
- Solid Administrative Assistance capabilities, including file management, diary management, and accurate data entry.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfort with using case management software and standard office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and work effectively as part of a small team.
- Previous experience in private client, property, or agricultural law is beneficial; relevant legal qualifications or coursework are an advantage.
