Legal Assistant
Location: UK Hybrid (Three days a week in our central London office near Tower Hill)
Position: Permanent
Salary: up to £33000 plus bonus and benefits

About the Role
Reporting into the Director of Risk and Operational Readiness you will be crucial in providing administrative and operational support to the legal team and the data protection officer. You will ensure smooth workflows, and maintain legal compliance across the business. With your support, the team will continue to navigate legal regulatory complexities while driving PetLab Co forward.

You take pride in delivering high-quality work and supporting a team that is fundamental to business success. You are able to close the loop on every task and ensure proper follow up.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist legal and data privacy professionals with administrative tasks across various projects.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage deadlines and priorities effectively, adapting to changing demands.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness in problem-solving and process optimization.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for document preparation and organization.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements
- A degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field, OR 2-3 years of relevant corporate experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software.
- Excellent communication skills: tailoring messages to different audiences and active listening.
- Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Ability to multitask: handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills: preparing ahead and maximizing time efficiency.
- Accountability: owning your work and following through on commitments.
- Adaptability: staying flexible and maintaining a positive attitude in changing situations.
- Proactive problem-solving: identifying challenges and presenting solutions.
