Job Description
Prosperity Law LLP is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing and vibrant Manchester Office as a Legal Assistant. Working within the Clinical Negligence team to support the fee earners in the team with a variety of clinical negligence related work.
Key Responsibilities Include
Assisting fee-earners in the management of their caseload of Clinical Negligence matters by undertaking various tasks as supervised by the fee-earners. Drafting documents and correspondence under supervision Dealing with new enquiries Updating and meeting with clients Undertaking research to support fee earners Obtaining medical records Liaising with the courts Liaising with a wide variety of 3rd parties in the course of progressing matters Supporting fee earners with various administrative tasks and file/case management Keeping up-to-date with key changes in the relevant law and procedure and ensuring that clients are informed of any changes that may affect them

Requirements
Strong technical IT skills At least 2 years of experience in an assistant role in a clinical Negligence team within a law firm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Commercially aware with a strong focus on client service.
