ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in law while working alongside experienced legal professionals in a busy immigration practice.
The successful candidate will support the legal team with a wide range of responsibilities, including legal, administrative, and client-facing tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, draft, format, and organise legal documents, applications, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Assist with immigration casework under the supervision of qualified legal professionals.
- Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, and client meetings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government bodies, and external organisations.
- Gather case information and supporting documentation from clients.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, and document management.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm's high standards of professionalism and client care.
- Assist Mr. Ali Bukhari with creating, organising, and coordinating content for his professional social media platforms, helping showcase the firm's expertise and engage with the wider community.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to learn.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Foundational knowledge of law and a good understanding of the role of a Legal Assistant.
- Strong legal document preparation skills, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence using digital systems.

DESIRABLE
- A Legal Assistant or Paralegal qualification, or relevant legal studies.
- Previous experience within immigration law or a similar legal environment.
- Experience using legal case management systems.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation is an advantage.
