An established law firm in North West London is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join its busy property team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in conveyancing and be confident managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day support to the conveyancing team on residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Preparing and issuing contract packs, legal documents, and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
- Assisting with exchange and completion, ensuring all documentation is in place.
- Carrying out post-completion work, including Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions where required.
- Drafting security documents.
- General legal administrative support, including opening and closing files, diary management, and maintaining accurate case records.

Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within residential conveyancing.
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with bridging finance would be advantageous but is not essential.
