Legal Assistant - Costs Team
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join our highly regarded Costs Team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced legal environment.
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced Costs Drafters and Negotiators, helping to ensure the smooth progression of costs matters and providing essential administrative support across the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Costs Drafters and Negotiators, including managing shared inboxes and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with external providers to obtain invoices and supporting documentation, ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Prepare document bundles for legal proceedings, external suppliers and internal stakeholders, including the Finance team.
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage a varied workload effectively. You'll have strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and confidence when dealing with a range of stakeholders. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with a willingness to learn, follow processes and develop within a legal environment. A proactive attitude and strong team-working skills will help you succeed in this role.
