We do Consulting Differently

Berkeley Research Group (BRG) is a global consulting firm whose passion is helping clients with their most difficult problems. With offices around the world, we are an integrated group of experts, industry leaders, academics, data scientists, and professionals working beyond borders and disciplines. We harness our collective expertise to deliver the inspired insights and practical strategies our clients need to stay ahead of what is next.

We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our in-house legal team. This role is based in London, and the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, including regular interaction with members of BRG's legal team in both London and the United States.

This is a fast-paced and highly responsible position that requires an individual experienced in working with very busy professionals, who can anticipate needs, juggle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities with little or no supervision, and deal with demanding clients while maintaining a positive attitude. The nature of this work is confidential and requires someone with a high level of proactivity, communication skills, discretion, and professionalism.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary and benefits package, and is a hybrid role based in London. The expectation is that the successful candidate will regularly attend the London office in accordance with the firm’s hybrid working policy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and coordinate changes to contracts (including engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements, independent contractor agreements and vendor agreements), escalating issues where appropriate and exercising sound judgment in responding to routine comments and revisions
  • Take ownership of day-to-day legal and administrative matters, proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions and driving tasks through to completion
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal Department, including document management, filing, correspondence, document execution, maintenance of executed agreements, and other general administrative tasks as required
  • Support internal compliance, conflicts, engagement and onboarding processes as required
  • Manage diaries, meetings and travel arrangements, and prepare and process expense reports, to maximize coordination, efficiency, and effective use of time
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Legal Department from time to time

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
