Our client is now recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join its expanding Private Client team in Fareham, Hampshire.

My client is a Lexcel accredited & reputable multi-service Law Firm covering the South Coast.
The practice is looking for an individual with drive and ambition, who can work on their own initiative as well as in a team, take ownership and manage their own casework, with an emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication.
The Role & Responsibilities
This is a busy and varied role dealing with all areas of private client work.
- Diary management and scheduling appointments
- Onboarding new clients and carrying out relevant checks
- Opening/closing and archiving files
- Audio typing and dictation
- Producing documents including wills and LPA’s
- General secretarial and administration duties
- Answering the telephone

Person Specification
The successful candidate would have:
- Knowledge and experience in this area of law
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
- Commitment to providing excellent client care
- Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements
- Team-focus with a flexible “can do” and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone.
- Confidence to communicate with all levels in order to manage expectations and maintain effective working relationships
