Legal Assistant / Senior Legal Assistant – Residential Conveyancing
Shaftesbury, North Dorset
Farnfields Solicitors is looking for a Legal Assistant / Senior Legal Assistant to join our Residential Conveyancing Team at our Shaftesbury office. This is a permanent role, ideally full-time (minimum 34 hours per week), primarily office-based, with scope to work remotely one day per week following training and induction.
This newly created role will support the Head of the Shaftesbury Conveyancing Team in a busy and varied position. Previous experience in a legal support role is preferred, ideally within residential conveyancing.
The role
You will provide transactional support within a fast-paced residential conveyancing team. The role will involve client onboarding, compliance procedures, file progression, exchanges, completions, and post-completion administration, together with regular contact with clients, estate agents, mortgage advisers, and other professionals.

About you
You will ideally have previous experience within the legal sector, preferably residential conveyancing, together with:
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Committed to providing an excellent service to clients and colleagues alike
Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Most importantly, you will be someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to providing an excellent service to clients and colleagues alike.
