As a member of the Expert Bill Review Team, you will collaborate with insurance defence lawyers and legal spend industry executives in a supportive, success-driven environment. The Legal Auditor leverages legal expertise and advanced technology to review law firm and vendor invoices for compliance on behalf of our 350+ customers, including top-rated AM Best insurance carriers, corporate legal departments, and government entities. The core role involves applying customer-tailored billing guidelines and aligning each review with the customer’s goals and objectives. Responsibilities include building a comprehensive understanding of uniquely tailored legal spend management protocols. You will primarily review legal invoices for compliance; consulting with customers to enhance guidelines and strategies and communicating with law firms to improve their billing practices. You will manage legal invoice volume and workflow using our Legal Spend Management platforms to handle complex workflows, invoice routing, and data collection. Building strong customer relationships and providing mission-critical value is essential to our partners' success. The skills you will have when you apply: Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of and experience in Legal Costs and Insurance Litigation. Education: Law degree plus appropriate professional qualification required (Costs Lawyer, Solicitor, CILEX). Experience: Legal Costs, Insurance Defence Litigation, Insurance Claims, or Legal Spend Management experience required. IT skills: The ability to embrace technology and proficient with standard industry applications. Confidence in exercising independent judgement based on experience, specialised training, and program metrics. Accountability: Demonstrate responsibility for own work. Collaborate: Work supportively with and for other team members in a culture of collaboration.
