Billing Coordinator

Our client, a Global Law firm, is looking to recruit a Billing Coordinator to support their branding team based in Manchester. The firm is looking for a self-starter who has a flexible and positive approach to their work and can work on their own initiative.

The main purpose of the role is to process all bills for the team and liaise with the central Finance function to ensure that all bills are logged onto the central finance system, and issued to clients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, checking, and collating invoices, ensuring everything is up to date and attaching to the correct files;
  • Dealing with specific billing requirements;
  • Supporting fee earners in regards to the billing process;
  • Building a good rapport with the team and clients;
  • Preparing bills;
  • Diary management;
  • Booking travel arrangements;
  • Running monthly reports;
  • Liaising with important personnel such as Credit Control, Clients, etc.;
  • Any other financial-related matters;
  • Working with the team to provide general administrative/secretarial support.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, etc.;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Previous experience in a similar environment / professional services;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills as client contact, including liaising with international clients, will be a feature of the role.
