The Legal Cashier
The Legal Cashier will oversee financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in legal finance, seeking a permanent position in Littlehampton.

Description
- Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee client account reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor cash flow and provide projections to support financial planning.
- Lead and support junior team members within the legal cashiering function.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.

Profile
A Successful Legal Cashier Should Have
- Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal finance practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting and cashiering software.
- Experience in managing financial transactions within the legal sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- A professional qualification in accounting or a related field (preferred).
