The Role: Legal Cashiering (Property Transactions)
Reporting to the Head of Accounts, this role is critical to our financial operations, focusing on property transactions and completions. You’ll work closely with the Accounts team and across the firm to ensure precision, compliance, and efficiency—all while maintaining strong client relationships.
This position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of legal cashiering (or conveyancing) experience, eager to develop in a collaborative environment. Hybrid working is available, based in Poole, Dorset.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Processing financial transactions:
- Handling receipts/payments for client and office accounts
- Managing end-to-end workflows for high-volume property transactions
- Ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with SRAAccounts Rules
- Conducting bank reconciliations
✔ Operational excellence:
- Maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards
- Supporting the broader cashiering and compliance function
✔ Collaboration:
- Working seamlessly across teams to optimise financial processes
What You’ll Bring
🔹 2 years’ experience in legal cashiering (preferably conveyancing) ☞ Bonus: exposure to property transactions and completions
🔹 Essential skills:
- Technical proficiency: Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal accounting software
- Attention to detail: Rigorous accuracy in financial operations
- Organisational mastery: Time management under pressure
- Communication skills: Clear and effective reporting, both internally and client-facing
