Legal Consultant
Legal JD Expert – Remote
AfterQuery is seeking Legal JD Experts to create and refine legal reasoning challenges for our AI training modules.
External version Remote, Flexible Role
In this position, you will design and evaluate legal scenarios tailored to challenge AI models in interpreting and applying complex legal principles. Your input will ensure our AI can deliver nuanced, accurate solutions to real-world legal challenges, transforming the landscape of legal technology with innovative precision.

Responsibilities
- Develop legal reasoning challenges across diverse fields (e.g., contract law, constitutional law, intellectual property)
- Critique AI model outputs, providing detailed, constructive feedback to refine logical consistency and legal accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—marketing, data, and other experts—to enhance question difficulty and content value
Requirements
Essential
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more legal domains through legal practice, research, or academia
- Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail

- Experience in legal technology, policy writing, or academic legal publishing
- Hands-on exposure to AI applications in legal contexts
- Track record of adapting expertise across varied domains
