Legal Consultant (Remote) – Contract Role

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 – $40 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Legal Consultant to work on a contract basis for one of our clients. This position demands a specialist with deep expertise in legal frameworks, contract law, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will provide critical guidance to our client’s operations while ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and draft legal documents, including contrats (clauses, negotiations), agreements, and compliance materials for business operations.
  • Deliver expert legal guidance, identifying and mitigating lic risk mitigation strategies for key business decisions.
  • Ensure full adherence to applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policies—proactively monitoring for legal gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpreting legal requirements and resolving complex inquiries in a consultative capacity.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry-specific legal trends and emerging compliance frameworks relevant to the client’s work.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in Contract Review & Negotiation, preferably with clauses, terms, and liability structures.
  • Demonstrable skills in Legal Risk Assessment, evaluating potential liabilities for commercial agreements.
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory standards, especially in the context of technology, information, or internet industries.
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality deliverables.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication—essential for articulating complex legal concepts clearly.
