This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal matters, including commercial real estate, commercial contracts, debt recovery, construction and planning, dispute resolution, ESG, marketing, corporate governance, and other general legal issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary legal contact for designated business locations and provide ongoing legal support to stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts for goods and services.
  • Lead negotiations on complex and high-value contractual arrangements.
  • Support property management and development teams on property enhancement projects, construction contracts, professional appointments, and planning-related matters.
  • Assist with the implementation of ESG-related initiatives impacting legal operations and the wider business.
  • Manage and advise on debt recovery, insolvency matters, and dispute resolution processes, ensuring commercially focused outcomes.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of corporate governance, risk management, anti-bribery, and data protection procedures.
  • Assist with the prioritisation, allocation, and oversight of legal work across the legal function.
  • Provide mentoring and support to junior team members where appropriate.
  • Conduct legal research and provide advice on a variety of ad hoc legal matters.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings.
  • Prepare reports and maintain legal records, trackers, and schedules.
  • Support the development and delivery of legal training to internal teams and stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
