We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team, supporting a fast-paced, dynamic business operating in a constantly evolving industry.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work across a wide range of commercial contracts, supporting both client-facing and supplier-side activity, while partnering closely with teams across the business.
You will be trusted to make decisions, add commercial value, and help shape how legal supports the business.

What you will be doing
- Drafting and negotiating high-value, complex commercial contracts for both UK and international operations
- Leading on client agreements and strategically important supplier contracts
- Partnering with teams across Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement and Operations to align on commercial and legal objectives
- Supporting procurement exercises to ensure robust, fit-for-purpose terms and conditions
- Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice on contract interpretation and commercial options
- Supporting and, where appropriate, leading on business-critical projects
- Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across the business
- Delivering training and guidance to colleagues to build legal awareness and risk management capability
- Maintaining and improving legal precedents, processes, and documentation
- Supporting broader corporate and commercial legal matters as required
What we are looking for
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2+ years’ PQE
- Law degree with strong grounding in contract and corporate law
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, particularly long-term service and IT agreements
- Exposure to a broad range of business law (e.g. data protection, IP, TUPE, consumer and competition law)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate legal advice into practical solutions
- Confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels (including senior leadership)
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Credible and professional, with the ability to represent Legal as a trusted business partner
