Role Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our in-house Legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with early post-qualification experience to work closely with stakeholders across the business, providing practical legal advice that supports commercial success.

Reporting Structure

Reporting to our Senior Legal Counsel, you'll play a key role in drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements, while gaining exposure to matters across intellectual property, data protection, disputes, employment law and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across the business.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including customer, supplier, NDA and partner agreements.
  • Advising stakeholders on contractual, data protection and intellectual property matters.
  • Supporting strategic projects and helping to manage legal risk.
  • Maintaining contract templates and legal processes.
  • Providing wider legal support on ad hoc matters, including disputes, employment and company secretarial activities.

Required Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with up to 2 years' PQE.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and the confidence to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an interest in leveraging AI tools within a legal environment.
