The Company
Our client is an investment business run by a high profile investor, philanthropist and media personality.
The Position
The company now has a new opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join its legal team and support the business on a range of corporate and commercial contracts. The role will be broad and will assist with the investments side of the business as well as the running of the organisation, philanthropic endeavours and private investment matters. You will also advise on corporate governance, risk and regulatory matters as well as assist in strategic decisions.

The purpose of the position is to be a trusted legal advisor to the business. The business is looking for good legal judgement and a strong corporate / commercial background.
About You
The position is a unique opportunity for a corporate or commercial lawyer to join a private yet high profile investment business. The role will best suit a recently qualified lawyer looking to make their first move in-house.
The ability to roll your sleeves up and advise on commercial matters, negotiate commercial contracts, advise on corporate matters and corporate governance will also be key. Providing good legal judgment for the business will be the most important function of this position.
