Legal Counsel | £75,000 - £85,000 | Hybrid/Remote (UK)

My client, a fast-growing international organisation, is seeking a Legal Counsel (Contracts & Compliance) to join their expanding legal team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to play a key role in supporting legal operations across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on commercial contracts, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including client contracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, and licensing arrangements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring key obligations, renewals, and contractual risks are effectively monitored.
  • Provide legal support during commercial proposals and tender processes.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance across areas including data protection, anti-bribery, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide advice on a variety of commercial and corporate matters.
  • Liaise with external legal advisers across multiple jurisdictions where required.
  • Maintain legal documentation, templates, and knowledge management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to minimise legal risk and support business objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
