Role Overview

Rare opportunity for a litigator to join established legal team of market leading business. Staffordshire based with hybrid working. We are keen to hear from disputes lawyer with 2 - 5 PQE (or equivalent).

About the Company

Arbuthnot Yon is working with a regulated business which operates across the UK and is a leader in its field with c400,000 customers and a turnover of c£800million. The business is going through an exciting period of change and the litigation area is growing internally, and this is a great opportunity to help form and shape this growing team.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic and Operational Focus: Build relationships with key stakeholders, support a team of paralegals/specialists, run your own case-load, and support the Head of Disputes with more complex cases.
  • Dispute Handling: Deal with legacy and current day disputes with customers relating to contractual, debt, and regulatory issues.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients and undertake a varied role where no day is the same.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 - 5 years PQE (or equivalent) gained in private practice or in-house.
  • Skills: Litigation lawyer with solid experience in disputes.
