The Opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, the Legal Counsel will support the wider business on a broad range of commercial legal matters, with a particular emphasis on the drafting and negotiation of customer and supplier contracts.
The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice to support business objectives and growth initiatives. The role will also provide exposure to financing matters, strategic projects, business development activity and corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Group Legal function on a wide variety of commercial legal matters across the organisation.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer and supplier contracts.
- Advising internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, legal risks and commercial considerations.
- Assisting with strategic projects, including financing transactions and corporate activity.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver commercially focused legal support.
- Managing legal documentation and supporting contractual compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Providing practical, business-focused legal advice within a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of legal governance frameworks and processes.

Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with 2-4 years' post-qualification experience.
- Training gained within a leading international law firm and/or an in-house legal team.
- Previous in-house experience, including through secondment, considered advantageous.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Excellent technical legal skills combined with strong commercial awareness.
- The ability to work independently and manage changing priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within the telecommunications or technology sector would be beneficial.
- French language capability would be advantageous, particularly for candidates with experience supporting French-speaking jurisdictions.
