Key Responsibilities Include

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of domestic and international commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and partners
• Provide timely, high-quality, and pragmatic legal support aligned with business objectives and Legal department goals
• Act as lead legal advisor for supply chain–related agreements, including supplier, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, material transfer, confidentiality, and other inbound supply or services contracts
• Advise on procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and operational matters from a legal, compliance, and risk perspective
• Support supply chain–related regulatory requirements, trade compliance obligations, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to address legal, compliance, and process issues, and contribute to policy development and legal initiatives
• Direct and manage internal and external counsel on matters relevant to supported functions and regional entities
• Support corporate governance and ongoing maintenance of corporate entities across the region
• Deliver training and practical guidance to business teams to promote legal awareness and risk mitigation
• Mentor and support junior legal team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Drive continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and systems, embracing Innovate with Purpose to improve efficiency and effectiveness

The estimated base salary range for the Legal Counsel (EMEALA), Cambridge UK role based in United Kingdom is GBP 84,300 - 126,500. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This salary range applies to the primary posting location listed above. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range will be updated accordingly. Compensation ranges for other locations will differ to reflect local market competitiveness and will be shared with candidates if applicable during the recruitment process. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
