About the Role
Join our Legal team in London as a Legal Counsel, supporting a broad range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing commercially focused legal support to the business, partnering closely with key stakeholders to advise on strategic projects and deliver pragmatic, solution-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
This role is primarily focused on commercial contracting and business initiatives, and also offers exposure to regulatory developments, ensuring the business remains well-positioned in a constantly evolving legal landscape.

Your future role at QRT:
- Provide legal support across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts such as supplier contracts, service agreements, engagement letters, technology-related contracts (including software and data protection provisions), and office leases and related property documentation.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders on multi-jurisdictional strategic vendor projects, office expansions and broader commercial initiatives.
- Support on corporate governance matters, including entity maintenance.
- Monitor, interpret and advise on regulatory developments impacting the business, translating these into practical guidance and supporting on implementation where required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Legal team processes, templates and ways of working.

Your present skillset:
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) with post-qualification experience within financial services.
- Strong legal experience covering corporate and commercial matters.
- Experience in monitoring regulatory developments, horizon scanning and advising on the impact of new and evolving legal frameworks is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of a trading or investment environment, with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial priorities.
- Experience supporting legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, in-house environment.
