We’re looking for a practical, commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our business on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on, standalone role supporting the organisation across a broad range of legal and commercial matters, with a strong focus on commercial contracts, governance and stakeholder management.
You’ll be someone who enjoys autonomy, builds trusted relationships quickly, and is confident operating as a self-starter. While you’ll bring solid experience in commercial contracts and core legal risk areas, we’re equally interested in someone who is curious, keen to learn, and motivated to grow the role over time — taking on projects, improving ways of working, and creating efficiencies across the business.
Commercial & Contractual Support
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including client engagement agreements, supplier contracts and NDAs.
- Act as a pragmatic legal partner to the business, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of contract templates and playbooks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
