Legal Counsel (In-House)
Cheshire | Hybrid Working
A high-growth, international professional services group is looking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its busy and expanding in-house legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to move into (or build on) an in-house career within a dynamic, acquisitive business operating across multiple global markets.
The Role
Reporting into the General Counsel, you’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:
Advising on commercial contracts, particularly within engineering, construction, or technical services environments Supporting on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, integrations, and restructures Providing legal guidance on international matters across various jurisdictions Assisting with corporate governance and compliance requirements Working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice Contributing to the ongoing development and integration of newly acquired businesses

About You
Qualified solicitor with circa 4+ years’ PQE Background in corporate and/or commercial law (private practice or in-house) Experience with complex contracts and/or M&A activity Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Strong communicator with a practical, business-oriented approach International exposure or interest would be advantageous
