Legal Counsel Remote – Part-Time (3 or 4 Days per Week)

About the Role

An expanding IT company operating globally is seeking a 2nd legal counsel to support the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) in a remote role, with ad-hoc meetings at their London office. Most employees work remotely, and the successful candidate will provide hands-on legal support, helping to develop strong in-house capability in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

This role centres primarily on commercial contracts, including:

  • Customer agreements
  • Supplier agreements
  • Partnership agreements

Additionally, you will assist with day-to-day legal and compliance matters, collaborating with colleagues across sales, delivery, people & culture, and finance. The focus is on managing legal risk while aligning decisions with practical business objectives.

Experience in the technology / IT / digital / professional services sector is essential.

While in-house experience is advantageous, other strong candidates—particularly those from private practice with a transactional and commercial focus—are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial and technology-related agreements, including:

  • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
  • Statements of Work (SOWs) and contract variations
  • Software/Software as a Service (SaaS) licences
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Partnership and framework agreements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
