About the Company
Leading asset manager looking to appoint a Pensions Legal Counsel with PRT experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business area within a well-established legal team, supporting the day-to-day delivery of insured risk transfer solutions across the full transaction lifecycle.
About the Role
Seeking an experienced pensions lawyer with a strong background in de-risking, including buy-ins, buy-outs and associated risk transfer structures, with an interest in developing innovative solutions tailored to institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- You will be a qualified lawyer with strong experience in the pensions de-risking space, either in private practice or in-house (ideally with an insurer or similar provider).
- Experience of longevity swaps and reinsurance structures is advantageous as is BPA knowledge.
- Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills are essential, alongside the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders and manage external counsel.
- A collegiate, commercial and pragmatic approach is key.

- Qualified lawyer with strong experience in the pensions de-risking space.
