Legal Counsel

Commercial Legal Counsel – Consumer Products Company

A well-known consumer products company is seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel for a fixed-term contract (12-month FTC), starting in August. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be based in the Central London office three days per week.


Key Responsibilities

The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to:

  • Sales agreements
  • Marketing agreements
  • Distribution agreements

Additionally, you will be expected to provide legal advice to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Expertise

  • Qualified commercial lawyer with advocat anglais (PQE) of 2-4+ years, though this is indicative and flexible
  • Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience required
  • Familiarity with legal issues related to sales, marketing, and distribution, preferably within the EMEA region
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage your own caseload, and thrive as a self-starter
