Legal Counsel (Sales)

Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel (Sales) to join our Legal Department and provide dedicated legal support to our Sales & Commercial teams. Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, with a dotted-line relationship to the Vice President Sales, you will play a key role in supporting the Company’s commercial objectives while ensuring legal risks are effectively identified, managed, and mitigated. This is a great opportunity for a proactive legal professional who enjoys working closely with others in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements, electricity supply agreements, and related ancillary contracts.
  • Working collaboratively with the Sales & Commercial teams to deliver pragmatic legal advice, develop and maintain standard contract templates, manage relationships with external legal advisers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes and governance frameworks.
  • Supporting cross-functional projects.
  • Helping drive legal best practice across the business.
  • Contributing to the development and training of colleagues on key contractual and legal risk matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
