An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Legal Counsel to join the in-house legal team of a leading UK sports organisation.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll join a lean legal team of two, advising on a broad range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, media rights, licensing, technology, sponsorship, and general commercial agreements. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll provide pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About you:
- Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE gained in private practice or in-house.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Sports sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- Commercially minded, able to work autonomously, and confident building relationships across the business.

This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to make the move into the sports industry, offering broad commercial exposure and the opportunity to work closely with an experienced General Counsel.
Based in Central London, the position is office-based five days a week, providing excellent mentoring, visibility across the business, and genuine responsibility from day one.
