Referment is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing alternative law firms to appoint a Legal Director / Head of Corporate.
This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial corporate lawyer to step into a genuine leadership position, combining sophisticated legal work with team management, client ownership and commercial responsibility.
Unlike a traditional private practice role, you'll work as a trusted extension of your clients' leadership teams, advising innovative businesses across the UK, Europe and the US.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a fee-earning position.
You'll lead an established Corporate team, shape its future growth and play a key role in the wider leadership of the business whilst continuing to advise on high-quality transactions.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Qualified lawyer status (UK or equivalent overseas jurisdiction)
- Strong Corporate/M&A experience
- Experience leading transactions from inception to completion
- A track record of developing client relationships
- Previous leadership or team management experience
- Commercial awareness and a growth mindset
- A passion for mentoring and developing lawyers
