Role Overview

As Harvey scales its post-sales function across EMEA, we are hiring a Legal Engineer Manager - Product Specialist to lead and grow the Product Specialist team in London. This role was created to provide senior leadership and strategic direction to a team of Product Specialists who support existing customers in maximising their use of the Harvey platform.

Harvey’s Legal Engineer - Product Specialists are experienced lawyers from top-tier firms who leverage their legal expertise to help customers seamlessly integrate Harvey into their daily workflows - driving adoption, increasing utilisation, and supporting long-term expansion and renewal. Legal Engineer - Product Specialists collaborate closely with Harvey’s Customer Success Managers to drive all facets of the post-sales strategy. They develop consultative relationships with law firm partners, associates, innovation teams, and in-house counsel, serving as trusted advisors on how Harvey’s AI solutions can enhance legal effectiveness and efficiency.

Legal Engineer - Product Specialists draw on their legal training and practice experience to ask thoughtful questions, uncover adoption barriers, and develop tailored strategies that build credibility with customers. They partner with Customer Success Managers to communicate Harvey’s value through a mix of large group sessions, small workshops, and one-on-one conversations.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop a team of Legal Engineers - Product Specialists, providing coaching, performance management, and career development support. Own the post-implementation customer relationship from a legal engineering perspective, ensuring law firm and in-house clients are effectively onboarded, trained, and supported on an ongoing basis Act as the senior escalation point for complex or strategic customer engagements, bringing deep product and legal expertise Partner with Account Management and Sales to identify expansion opportunities, support renewals, and contribute to retention strategy Collaborate with the Product team to surface customer feedback, advocate for platform improvements, and keep the team informed of new features and roadmap developments Define and iterate on team processes, playbooks, and frameworks to build a scalable and high-performing function

What You Have

Qualified lawyer with 7+ PQE, with experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment Prior experience managing or mentoring a team, with a track record of developing talent and driving performance Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, with an ability to quickly develop and demonstrate platform expertise Strong commercial instincts and the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders at law firms and in-house legal teams Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience running training, workshops, or client-facing product sessions Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
