Legal Entity & Securitisation Assistant Finance Manager (6 Month FTC)

About this opportunity
The Legal Entity and Securitisation team is a trusted, value-adding partner to the business, supporting with month-end financial control, balance sheet substantiation, and statutory reporting. Currently driving an ambitious Finance Transformation programme, new tooling will be introduced—providing an opportunity to optimise processes.
We do more than assign tasks—you’ll be valued from day one, given genuine ownership, and mentored while supporting others.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage legal entity and securitisation reporting, ensuring full compliance
- Prepare statutory accounts for Special Purpose Entities (SPEs) and group entities, aligning with accounting standards and internal policies
- Serve as the key interface with external auditors, addressing queries and providing supporting documentation
- Support board and governance deliverables, contributing to control environment and risk management (including QAR and SOX-style controls)
- Perform iXBRL tagging of statutory accounts
- Produce FINREP Form 40 disclosures, ensuring accurate regulatory reporting

Hybrid Working Structure

Your Profile
Essential Requirements
- Accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in statutory reporting
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and passion for driving function success
- Capacity to challenge and refine current processes
- Delivery-focussed mindset with fast quality output

Preferred Experience
- Financial services background
- Microsoft 365 proficiency, particularly Excel
- Ability to adopt new systems quickly
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Power Apps, Python)
