Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Part-Time Payout: $40 – $110/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Legal Expert to provide guidance on legal matters related to microtasking and freelance platforms. This role involves:
- Reviewing platform policies
- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Advising on dispute resolution mechanisms
Key Responsibilities
- Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for compliance with applicable laws
- Advise on legal risks associated with microtasking operations, including data privacy and labor regulations
- Assess and mitigate risks related to cross-border transactions and intellectual property disputes
- Provide legal support in handling user disputes and platform-related legal inquiries
- Stay updated on evolving laws and regulations affecting gig-economy platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in contract review and drafting with a focus on digital platforms
- Knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in legal contexts
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
