The Opportunity

The Legal Finance Administrator role, known internally as the Rates and Matter Admin Analyst, sits within Ashurst Perkins Coie's Finance Operations function, based in Glasgow.

The Rates & Matter Admin Team plays a key role in ensuring that the firm's engagements with our clients are set up correctly within our financial management platform. This includes initial review of all new matters opened globally and ongoing updates to client and matter records as required, including implementation of discount arrangements and ensuring compliance with agreed client terms.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Glasgow with hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

  • Support the maintenance of client, matter and panel information within the firm systems.
  • Assist with the review and update of rate class structures and associated data.
  • Support matter maintenance activities, amendments and data validation exercises.
  • Assist with the administration of client panel agreements and rate card updates.
  • Input and maintain rate information within firm systems, including 3E.
  • Support quality assurance activities to ensure data accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
  • Assist with increased matter administration volumes arising from merger and integration activities.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Previous experience of working within a finance function, working in a professional services environment would be preferable.
  • Good numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Team player, able to juggle multiple deadlines and effectively work under pressure
  • Good Excel skills.
