Legal PA Manager | Secretarial Services Manager
London | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 from home)
£65,000 - £68,000 + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits
Not every management role is the same. Neither is every manager.
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence the future of legal support—not simply manage a team—this could be exactly what you've been waiting for. We're partnering with one of London's most progressive international law firms as they continue investing in the evolution of their Legal PA and Business Support function. This is a firm with ambitious growth plans, significant investment in technology and AI, and a genuine commitment to developing its people.
But what really makes this opportunity stand out?
The leadership.
You'll report into an exceptional manager who has built a reputation for developing people, championing innovation and continually challenging the status quo. Someone who doesn't see Legal PAs as reactive assistants. They see them as strategic business partners. Someone who believes AI isn't replacing great Legal PAs—it's removing repetitive administration so talented people can spend more time adding real commercial value. You'll be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge existing processes, embrace new technology and help shape what the future of legal support looks like. If you've ever wanted to work for a leader who genuinely invests in their team's careers, this is that opportunity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
