Owen Reed is looking to recruit an experienced Legal PA for a top law firm in Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate team, providing proactive, high-level support to Partners and fee earners. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the team by managing complex diaries, coordinating client matters, supporting billing processes, and delivering an exceptional level of client service.
This role is ideal for an experienced Legal PA who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys building strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities
As a Legal PA, you will:
- Provide comprehensive PA support to Partners and fee earners within the Real Estate team.
- Manage complex diaries, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and resolving diary conflicts proactively.
- Support billing activities, matter balances, and working capital management in collaboration with Finance teams.
- Assist with opening new matters, engagement letters, and matter management processes.
- Coordinate client matter inception, conflict checks, and Client Due Diligence (CDD) processes.
- Maintain accurate file management, including matter closures, archiving, and ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to coordinate events, conferences, client meetings, and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with bids, tenders, client reports, CV updates, and CRM administration.
- Prepare meeting packs, itineraries, and hospitality arrangements.
- Delegate document production tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Use firm technology and administrative systems efficiently to support the team.
- Ensure compliance with the firm's risk management and regulatory procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while delivering exceptional service.

About You

The successful candidate will have:
- At least three years' experience as a Legal PA, Legal Secretary, or Executive Assistant within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Previous experience supporting Partners and fee earners.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Strong diary and travel management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, client-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and exceptional accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new legal systems.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
