Hire Resolve is assisting legal organisations in hiring experienced legal professionals for multiple mid–senior level opportunities across a range of practice areas and business functions. This is a multi-role campaign covering both private practice and in-house positions (depending on background), with clear progression pathways toward senior specialist and leadership roles such as Senior Associate, Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel, Managing Associate, Practice Lead, Head of Legal, or Legal Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Provide practical legal advice to stakeholders and/or clients across commercial and operational matters Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents (e.g., commercial agreements, NDAs, supplier terms, service agreements) Manage and progress matters in areas such as corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, disputes, property, procurement, compliance, privacy, or governance (aligned to experience) Support dispute resolution activity, including pre-action strategy, liaison with external counsel, and case management Contribute to compliance programmes and internal policies, including monitoring of regulatory changes and controls Assist with risk assessments and recommendations to reduce legal and commercial exposure Maintain accurate records, matter documentation, and reporting aligned to confidentiality and data protection expectations Partner with internal teams (e.g., HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Operations) to improve legal processes and decision-making Support process improvement initiatives (e.g., contract playbooks, clause libraries, workflow automation, template governance) Mentor junior colleagues and promote consistent quality standards across the function Qualifications (role-dependent): For solicitor roles: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland as relevant), typically with strong post-qualification experience For barrister or advocate pathways: relevant professional qualification and practice experience (where applicable) For legal operations, contracts, compliance, or specialist roles: relevant degree and substantial sector experience (legal qualification beneficial but not always essential) Experience: Typically 5–12+ years of progressive legal experience (in-house and/or private practice), suited to mid–senior level scope Demonstrated capability in one or more areas such as commercial contracts, corporate governance, employment, disputes, regulatory, compliance, privacy, property, or legal operations Strong drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and risk-based decision-making skills Familiarity with commonly used legal systems/tools (where relevant), such as document management systems, matter management, e-billing, CLM platforms, and Microsoft 365 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities confidentially and professionally Private Healthcare Plan Pension Plans Life Assurance Leave Package Training & Development
